State Statute Reminder for Parents
The first bell will sound at 9:25 a.m. Our official start time is 9:30 a.m. and our dismissal time is 3:57 p.m. Students should not arrive to school prior to 9:00 a.m. and should be picked up no later than 4:25 p.m. Wednesdays 9:25-2:54 p.m.
Florida Statue 1003.31 requires that the school system provides supervision for students 30 minutes before the school day begins and 30 minutes after the school day ends. Therefore, supervision is provided from 9:00 a.m. until 4:25 p.m. Please ensure that your student does not arrive to school prior to 9:00 a.m. and that he/she is picked up no later than 4:25 p.m. In order to go to a classroom before 9:25 a.m. a student is required to have a pass from the teacher. If your student participates in extracurricular activities or attends functions (games, dances, etc.) after school, the same policy applies: your student will need to be picked up right after the activity ends, but no later than 30 minutes after the conclusion of the activity.
