The Math Department at Odyssey provides every student a unique opportunity to participate in exciting, motivating, hands-on math activities. These activities include everything from constructing buildings which enforce spatial reasoning to manipulating algebra tiles to solve quadratic equations. The Department is very proud of their history of having higher scores on the FCAT than both the county and the state. This is the result of a department that works and plans as one unit for the success of all students.
A spiral curriculum is utilized so that by the time students reach 8th grade, they are applying math skills to every day situations and problems; and cooperative problem solving activities at all grade levels enable students to hone the skills necessary to survive in the real world.   Odyssey offers a wide-range of programs including Advanced Math at all levels, PreAlgebra, Algebra and Geometry.
