Principal's Message

Dear Odyssey Families,

Welcome to the 2018 – 2019 school year! I am very proud to be the principal of Odyssey for the 4th year. This year promises to be an exciting one as the teachers and students launch into digital learning. The teachers have attended trainings on how to implement digital tools in the classroom and are excited to share this with students. Students will each have an OCPS issue laptop computer. With a digital device comes great responsibility. Please be sure to adhere to all digital expectations.

Faculty and staff at Odyssey Middle School believe in maintaining a family atmosphere. They support one another and the students. We strive to provide a safe learning environment that is filled with respect for all. Our school works to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders for the success of students. I greatly believe that parents and the staff should form partnerships for the success of every student which also impacts the overall well-being of the school and community. I encourage you to be involved as much as your schedule allows.

If you need help with anything this school year, please call the front office and they will direct you to the person who can help you the most. I have an incredible leadership team waiting and willing to support your needs.

Thank you! Looking forward to a great year!

Ann Hembrook

Any student wanting to try out for a sport must turn in an OCPS Sports Physical before trying out.  Students may either get the paper work from Coach Webb or  print it from the Odyssey Middle School website under Athletics and take it to their doctor.  Sports Physicals need to have a doctor’s signature along with a doctor’s office stamp and returned to Coach Webb prior to trying out.
