Theatre III
Theatre III builds on the skills
learned in Theatre I and Theatre II. Students will focus on performance skills,
script analysis, and will end the course with a student devised performance.
Note – This class may require participation in the International Thespian
Society’s festival/competition as the “top performance troupe” at Odyssey. This
will require after school and weekend time commitments.
Introduction to Technical
Theatre
After taking Theatre I, students
who are interested in the backstage areas of Theatre (costuming, lighting,
sound, scenic, props, etc.) have the opportunity to support the Fall and Spring
productions through hands-on construction in addition to learning the design
aspects of these fields through class projects. Students enrolled in this class
may also be requested to help out with school events. Note – This class
requires after school and weekend time commitments as part of the grade.
